We have many health sciences electronic databases and print resources for doing this kind of research. You may start by reviewing some excellent research guides developed by UNC librarians. Choose "Health Sciences" on our Research Guides by Subject webpage to see narrower topics in this area. Many guides suggest databases to use, common print or electronic resources, and search terms for specific areas of study.

If you're looking for articles, you may try the Databases tab on the library homepage. Click the Databases tab, then the "Browse databases by subject, type or vendor" link. From the All Subjects drop-down, choose a subject of interest, e.g., Health & Medicine, Health Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health. Many of these will point you to PubMed and CINAHL, two powerful and authoritative health sciences article databases, among others.
