Try searching for the book in Prospector, a partnership of libraries all over Colorado and Wyoming.  If the book is owned by any of the Prospector libraries and available, click on "Request It," complete the form, and choose your pick-up library. You will be notified via your UNC email account when the book arrives at your selected library in 3 - 5 days. Return the book to either UNC library. There is no charge for this service.

If the book is not available in Prospector, you can request it via interlibrary loan. This service searches libraries all over the world for the book that you need.  Go to this website and enter your UNC credentials. Click on the Create Request button, choose the request for the material type you'd like, and fill out the form.

Typically, interlibrary loan requests are filled within 2 weeks, although some materials come much more quickly and others more slowly. **Note that there is a separate form for distance learners who need materials shipped directly to them - more information here.**
