If the catalog record for the thesis in question indicates that it is in Michener Stacks, and "Available," then yes, it can be checked out. If it is already checked out, you can "Request It" - look for the check-mark in the upper left corner - and when it is returned, you will be contacted via email.
Some theses are limited to "Library Use Only" - if that is the case then you are welcome to come in to Michener Library to use it, but it cannot be checked out.
