You can request materials that we do not own or that are already checked out using either Prospector or interlibrary loan. Prospector takes you to a union catalog (a partnership of libraries throughout Colorado and into Wyoming) which is often the fastest route to books. Search the Prospector catalog and click the "Request it" button next to the item you want.

If the item you want is an article or is not in Prospector, submit an interlibrary loan request. This provides access to virtually every book and article published. Go to this website and enter your UNC credentials. Click on the Create Request button, choose the request for the material type you'd like, and fill out the form.

Both of these methods will deliver materials to the UNC Libraries for you to pick up. For distance learners, visit this page for special instructions.
