Essays are generally compiled in books, so search the title of the essay in the Catalog tab of the library homepage.  Put the title of the essay in quotation marks followed by the authors last name.

Example: "power of the powerless" Havel

Scan the contents of the books in the results list to confirm that the correct essay by Havel is in the book, and then locate the book in the library or via the link in the catalog.

The library may still have a book containing the essay even if it is not coming up in the catalog if the contents for that book is not listed in its record.  Searching in Google Books may help identify the title of a book containing the needed essay. Double check to see if we have this title in the catalog.
